A run is a group of cars on public roads shared with people who did not sign up for it. Everything below follows from that.
Before you leave
Full tank, tire pressure checked, working lights. Know the meeting point and at least the next stop — cell service drops in the mountains and you will not always be able to look it up.
On the road
Keep your own following distance. Do not run red lights to stay with the group — the group waits at the next stop, that is what the roadbook is for. Nobody gets left behind because nobody has to catch up.
If something goes wrong
Pull off the road fully before stopping. Post it on the event wall so the organizer sees it. In an emergency call 911 first and post second.
Weather
Mountain routes fog over and flood fast. If the organizer postpones, the status changes to Postponed and everyone marked going gets an email. Check the page before you leave the house.
